Can You Aim?

Man a coastal gun at golden hour and drop shells on targets far out at sea. Gravity pulls, the wind pushes. Can you aim?

You man a gun on a sea cliff. Far out on the water floats a target: a raft with a canvas bullseye, a fuel barge, an old rusting hulk. Turn the gun, raise the barrel, look through the 6x gunsight and fire.

The shell takes seconds to get there. Gravity pulls it down, so you aim above the target, and the wind pushes it, so you aim into the wind. Watch the splash, listen to the spotter ("40 m short, 6 m left"), correct and fire again. The farther the target, the longer the flight and the more the wind matters.

Hit it and it goes up in flames. You score its accuracy times the range, doubled for a first-round hit. A first-round hit and a bullseye each earn a shell back.

You start with 10 shells. Every target you destroy brings the next one farther out, in stronger and gustier wind, and as the run goes on the sun sets, the sea goes dark and flares light the range. Later targets drift, and fast drone boats race across the water.

Keep a range card of your hits, learn your gun and see how far you can get. Post your best score and longest hit to the leaderboards.
