Player terms
llvls Player Terms
Version 2026-10-10, in effect from 10 October 2026.
In plain words
- llvls is free to play. You need an account to buy, comment, rate or keep your scores, and you must be 13 or over to have one.
- Games are made by independent creators. We check them, run them safely in your browser, and sell what they offer.
- What you buy stays yours on every device you sign in on, even if the creator later unpublishes the game.
- Play fair and treat other players well. If something goes wrong, report it and we will look.
This summary helps you read the terms. It doesn’t replace them.
1. About these terms and who we are
In plain words: Live Shuttle ehf., an Icelandic company, runs llvls and sells you everything you buy on it.
1.1 These terms are an agreement between you and Live Shuttle ehf. (“we”, “us”). They apply whenever you use llvls.com: playing with or without an account, buying, rating, commenting and following. Some features they describe, such as purchases, ads, comments and multiplayer rooms, may not be available yet. Their parts of these terms apply once they are.
1.2 You accept these terms when you make an account. If you play without an account, they apply to that use as well.
1.3 Part 6 is our refund policy and is part of these terms. The “In plain words” lines, and any guides we publish to explain llvls, help you read the terms. They aren’t part of them.
1.4 Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, including what we store on your device. It isn’t part of this agreement.
1.5 Making games on 4rc4d3 is covered by the 4rc4d3 Creator Terms. Player and creator accounts are separate, and these terms don’t cover a creator account.
1.6 llvls and 4rc4d3 are trading names of Live Shuttle ehf., a private limited company registered in Iceland, kennitala 470612-0610, registered office Biskupsgata 5, 113 Reykjavík, Iceland, VAT number 111248. You can reach us at support@llvls.com. We reply in English.
1.7 Games on llvls are made by independent creators, and some by us (labelled as house games). Creators are responsible for their games. When you buy something in a game, we are the seller to you, not the creator, and the creator never sees your payment details.
1.8 If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away rights the law of your country gives you.
2. Who can use llvls
In plain words: anyone can play free games. You need to be 13 or over for an account, and 18 or over, with Mature games turned on, to play Mature games.
2.1 Anyone can play free games without an account. Without an account, your game saves stay on your device only.
2.2 You must be 13 or over to have an account. We don’t offer accounts to younger players yet. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, tell us at support@llvls.com and we will close it.
2.3 If you are 13 to 17, you can play, rate, comment and follow, but you can’t buy anything until we offer a way for a parent or carer to approve purchases. By accepting these terms you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to them.
2.4 Your age comes from the date of birth you give when you make your account, whether you sign up with email or with Google. Give your real date of birth. You can’t change it yourself; Support can correct it if you show proof.
2.5 Mature games are only for adults. With an account, you must be 18 or over and turn Mature games on in your settings; they are off until you do. Without an account, opening a link to a Mature game asks whether you are 18 or over, and this device remembers a “yes” for 30 days. In the United Kingdom, you need to sign in to an adult account with Mature games turned on.
2.6 Don’t say you are 18 or over if you aren’t, and don’t let a child use your account or device to play Mature games.
2.7 Your account is for your own personal, non-commercial use.
2.8 You can’t use llvls if we have ended a previous account of yours for breaking these terms, unless we agree in writing.
3. Your account
In plain words: keep your sign-in to yourself, pick a decent name, and keep your email working so we can reach you.
3.1 You can make an account with an email address and password, or with Google. With Google, we ask Google only for your email address and the id that signs you in, never your contacts or friends, and we share nothing back with Google. We still ask for your date of birth.
3.2 Your account is for you alone. Don’t share your password, sell or give away your account, or let anyone else use it. Don’t make extra accounts to get around a limit, a block or a suspension.
3.3 Two-factor sign-in is optional for players. We recommend turning it on in Settings.
3.4 You are responsible for what happens in your account, unless it was caused by our failure. If you think someone else has got in, change your password and tell us straight away.
3.5 Other players see your username or, if you prefer, a name we generate for you. Your username is also how you log in and your profile link. You can change it in Settings, with a wait between changes that Settings shows. Names must follow part 10: we may change or remove a name that is offensive, pretends to be someone else, or misleads people about who you are.
3.6 Keep your email address working. We send emails you can’t turn off: account security (verification, password reset, password changes), receipts, and notices about your account under these terms. Other emails follow your notification settings, and every email says whether it can be turned off. We will never ask for your password.
4. Playing games
In plain words: games run in a closed frame in your browser. Creators decide what is in them. Saves follow your account, and anything you buy is kept by llvls, not by the game.
4.1 Every game runs in a closed frame that llvls controls. Games never get your email address, account, age or location from us, only the name other players see. Games can’t take payments, show sign-in forms or send you elsewhere. If a game asks for your card, your password or personal details, don’t give them, and report the game.
4.2 Each game is made by its creator, who decides what is in it and can publish new releases that change it. We check every release automatically, and a person checks some of them, but we can’t promise that every game works, suits you, or stays on llvls.
4.3 Every game has an audience rating (Kids, General or Mature) and content notes, set by its creator and checked by us. We may change a game’s rating. Check them before you play.
4.4 With an account, your saves for each game are kept on your account, so they work on any device you sign in on. We keep them while your account exists and delete them with it.
4.5 Without an account, saves stay on your device only, and clearing your browser’s data deletes them. The first time you sign in and open a game on a device that has a save for it, that save moves to your account, unless your account already has a save for that game. Your account’s save always wins, and the copy on the device is then deleted.
4.6 A save can be lost, for example when you clear your browser or a new release changes how a game saves. We don’t promise we can restore one. Saves have no money value.
4.7 What you buy, how many items you have, and your scores are kept by llvls, not in the game’s save. So they can’t be lost with a save, and they follow you to every device you sign in on.
4.8 llvls is free to use. We may add, change or remove features and games, and we can’t promise llvls will always be available or free of errors.
5. Buying on llvls
In plain words: we are the seller, checkout is always ours, prices include tax (except US sales tax), nothing random is sold, and what you buy stays on your account.
5.1 You can buy paid parts of a game (unlocks), games in a series, bundles, and in-game items such as extra lives. Items always come in a fixed quantity. We never sell anything random, such as loot boxes, and never sell coins, gems or any other currency. Items are offered only at a break in play, next to at least one free way to carry on.
5.2 We sell everything you buy on llvls. Checkout always opens in a llvls panel, never inside a game. Games never see your card details.
5.3 To buy, you need an account and must be 18 or over. Under-18 accounts can’t buy anything until we offer a way for a parent or carer to approve purchases.
5.4 Prices are shown before you pay, in euros, US dollars, pounds or Icelandic krónur. They include VAT or similar tax where it applies, except in the United States, where sales tax is added at checkout. The total at checkout is what you pay. A later price change, up or down, doesn’t change what you paid.
5.5 You pay by card, or with a wallet where checkout offers one, through our payment provider. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment. Cards you save are kept by our payment provider, never by llvls or any game, and you can remove them in Your purchases.
5.6 New accounts have a monthly spending limit for their first weeks, shown at checkout. You can set your own monthly limit in Settings. A lower limit applies at once. A higher one starts 7 days after you ask for it, and that includes raising the new-account limit.
5.7 Your order is accepted when checkout confirms it. We then email a receipt, which shows what you bought, the price, the tax, and any consent you gave under part 6.
5.8 What you buy is a personal right to play that content on llvls, signed in to your account, on any device. It doesn’t give you ownership of the game. You can’t sell, transfer or share purchases, or move them to another account.
5.9 If the creator unpublishes a game or closes their account, you keep access to the last release of it that was live, with everything you bought in it, for as long as we run llvls, unless it has to be removed for legal or safety reasons (part 11).
5.10 In-game items work only in the game they came from. llvls keeps count of them, a game may limit how many you can hold, and an item is gone once you use it.
5.11 A bundle never costs more than its parts bought separately. If you already own part of a bundle, you pay only for the parts you don’t have, never less than nothing.
5.12 If we ever close llvls, we will tell you at least 90 days before, and explain what happens to what you bought.
6. Cancelling, refunds and disputed payments (our refund policy)
In plain words: in Europe and the UK you agree at checkout to get access straight away, which ends your 14-day right to cancel. If something you bought doesn’t work, you can still ask for a refund. Please ask us before going to your bank.
6.1 If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase for any reason. For digital content you can use straight away, that right ends once the content is unlocked, but only if you agree to it first. So checkout asks you to tick a box saying you want access straight away and understand you lose the right to cancel once it unlocks. Pay stays off until you tick it, and your receipt records that you did.
6.2 Whatever you agreed at checkout, if something you bought doesn’t work, ask for a refund from Your purchases (“Ask for a refund”) within 14 days of buying it. This is on top of your legal rights for faulty digital content, which may last longer and which this policy never shortens.
6.3 For in-game items, a refund covers only the items you haven’t used.
6.4 A refund goes back to the card or wallet you paid with. A refunded purchase is removed from your account, and so are any refunded items.
6.5 If we remove a game you bought from for legal or safety reasons (part 11), we refund what you bought in that game in the 30 days before it was removed. This doesn’t reduce your legal rights.
6.6 Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank. If a payment is disputed, purchases on your account pause while it is sorted out: you can keep playing everything free, but you can’t buy anything, and the disputed purchase is removed. If you didn’t dispute it, or did so by mistake, tell us from Your purchases. If the bank decides the payment stands, access doesn’t come back on its own; contact us and we will look at it.
6.7 We may refuse, cancel or reverse a purchase that looks fraudulent or unauthorised, and refund it. If a price was clearly wrong because of a mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
7. Ads
In plain words: ads keep llvls free. They appear around the game and at breaks, never in the middle of play, and they aren’t based on tracking you.
7.1 Ads help pay for llvls and for the creators whose games you play. llvls shows them around the game frame and at breaks in play, with the game paused. Games never show ads themselves. There is no ad in the first couple of minutes of a session, and breaks with ads are spaced out.
7.2 Some games let you choose to watch an ad for a reward, such as an extra life. Watching is always optional, and you get the reward once the ad has been shown in full.
7.3 Ads are chosen from the page they appear on, not from tracking what you do elsewhere. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your choice about ad storage on your device before ads load. The Privacy policy explains this.
7.4 Kids games show no ads for now. When they do, they will show only ads from networks certified as safe for children, and never ads for rewards. Mature games show only ads suited to adult audiences.
7.5 Don’t view or click ads to help a creator, or use bots or scripts with ads. We don’t count that activity, and it can lead to your account being restricted.
7.6 An ad is the advertiser’s, not ours. If an ad looks wrong or harmful, report it to us.
8. Scores, leaderboards and fair play
In plain words: scores are for fun and earned fairly. We remove scores that look cheated.
8.1 Many games have leaderboards. You need an account to save a score. Your scores appear with your public name, unless you turn off “Show my scores on public leaderboards” in Settings; you still see your own rank.
8.2 Some boards are verified: llvls checks each run on our servers before it counts. Other boards take the game’s reported score and check that it is possible.
8.3 Play fair. Don’t use modified games, scripts, bots or bugs to change scores, items, plays or purchases, and don’t tamper with the game frame or llvls. We may remove scores that look cheated or impossible, reset a board, and restrict an account that cheats.
8.4 If you find a bug that gives an unfair advantage, tell us rather than using it.
8.5 When you share a score or a challenge link, the people you send it to see the game, your score and your public name. Links carry no other details about you.
8.6 Leaderboards are for fun. Scores and ranks have no money value, and we don’t award prizes for them unless a competition’s own rules say so.
9. What you post and share
In plain words: you own what you post, and you let us show it on llvls. Comments are checked before and after they appear. Rate honestly.
9.1 With an account you can comment on game pages, reply and like comments, rate games, write a short profile, follow creators and games, and save games and collections.
9.2 You keep any rights you have in what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, show and moderate it on llvls for as long as it is there, and to keep the copies we need for the law and for disputes.
9.3 Comments pass a filter before they appear. It holds comments that look like insults, hate, spam or contact details, and links from under-18 accounts. A new account’s first comments are held until we check them. Creators can report comments on their games, but can’t remove them.
9.4 Rate a game from your own play. Don’t rate for payment or a favour, from more than one account, or for someone else. Ratings count more from accounts that are older and have played the game for longer.
9.5 Your profile shows your public name and bio. In Settings you choose whether it also shows the games you have played and who you follow. Don’t put contact details, or anyone else’s personal details, in anything you post.
9.6 You can block another player. We then hide them from you wherever you could meet: comments, follows and rooms.
9.7 Multiplayer rooms, when we offer them, need an account and are by invitation only. In a room you appear under a room handle, generated unless you are an adult and choose to show your name. Players talk only with set phrases and emotes, never free text. Rooms for Mature games are open only to adults who have turned Mature games on. We keep a record of each match’s moves to settle disputes and check for cheating.
9.8 We may hold, hide or remove anything that breaks these terms or the law (part 11).
10. Rules for everyone on llvls
In plain words: be decent, keep personal details private, and don’t cheat or break things.
10.1 When you use llvls, don’t:
- post or share anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
- harass, bully, threaten or demean anyone, or attack people for who they are;
- post sexual content of any kind;
- share your own or anyone else’s personal or contact details, ask other players for theirs, or try to move a conversation with a player off llvls;
- spam, advertise, or post links to sell things;
- pretend to be someone else, including a creator or us;
- cheat, or inflate plays, ratings, scores or ad results (parts 7 and 8);
- use bots, scrapers or other automated access, except search engines following our published rules;
- get around an age gate, a block, a limit, a restriction or the game frame;
- get into anyone else’s account, probe or attack our systems, or upload anything harmful;
- sell, trade or rent accounts, names or purchases.
10.2 Anything that puts a child at risk is removed at once and for good, and we report it to the authorities where the law requires it.
10.3 If you find a security problem in llvls, tell us at support@llvls.com instead of using it. We won’t take action against you for a report made in good faith that doesn’t harm players or their data.
11. Reports, moderation and appeals
In plain words: anyone can report something. We look, tell you what we decided and why, and a different person looks again if you ask.
11.1 Anyone, with or without an account, can report a game, a store page, a comment, a player, an ad or a purchase problem: from the report buttons on llvls, or by email to support@llvls.com. Say what it is and why you are reporting it, and, if you think it is illegal, why. We confirm we received it and tell you what we decided.
11.2 We act on reports and on our own checks. Automated checks help us, for example by holding comments for review, and we tell you when they played a part in a decision.
11.3 If something breaks these terms or the law, we may hold, hide or remove it, change a name, remove scores, stop an account from commenting, rating or buying, suspend or close an account, or take a game down.
11.4 Whenever we restrict, remove or suspend something of yours, we tell you what we did, why, the rule or law involved, whether automated checks played a part, and how to appeal. Where the law requires us to report something to the authorities first, for example to protect a child, we may tell you only once that is done.
11.5 You can appeal a decision about your account or something you posted once, by replying to our notice or writing to support@llvls.com, within 3 months of the decision. A different person from the one who decided looks at it, and we reply within 14 days. Appeals are free.
11.6 This doesn’t affect any right you have to take a decision to a court, or to another dispute body, under the law where you live.
11.7 If someone often sends reports or appeals that are clearly unfounded, we may stop dealing with them for a while, after a warning.
11.8 We act on valid orders from courts and authorities, and tell you unless the order forbids it.
12. Who owns what
In plain words: creators own their games and we own llvls. You may play, and share clips of your play, but not copy the games.
12.1 Each game belongs to its creator, or to whoever licensed it to them. llvls, 4rc4d3, our names and logos, the site and the game frame belong to us.
12.2 We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use llvls and play the games on it for your own enjoyment, under these terms. Don’t copy, download, extract, change, reverse engineer or redistribute games or any part of llvls, except as far as the law allows.
12.3 You may take screenshots and record or stream yourself playing games on llvls, and share them, as long as you don’t present a game as your own.
12.4 If you think something on llvls infringes your rights, tell us at support@llvls.com. We remove infringing material and close the accounts of people who infringe repeatedly.
12.5 If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
13. Privacy and your device
In plain words: the Privacy policy has the detail. Creators see only totals, games see only your public name, and you can download your data at any time.
13.1 The Privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, who helps us process it, and your rights.
13.2 We use your account details to give you llvls under this agreement.
13.3 llvls stores a few things on your device that it needs to work: your sign-in, saves when you aren’t signed in, your sound setting, and answers you gave about your age. We ask before storing anything else, such as ad storage (part 7).
13.4 Creators see statistics about their games only as totals, never who played. Games get only the name other players see (part 4).
13.5 You can download your account data at any time from Settings.
14. Suspension, closing your account and ending these terms
In plain words: you can delete your account at any time, with 30 days to change your mind through support. We can suspend or close accounts that break the rules, and we always say why.
14.1 You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account in Settings. From that moment the account can’t be used. It is deleted for good after 30 days. Until then, only support can stop the deletion: write to support@llvls.com.
14.2 Deleting your account deletes your profile, comments, saves and leaderboard scores, and ends your access to everything you bought on it. Unused purchases aren’t refunded, unless the law requires it. Download your data first if you want a copy.
14.3 After deletion we keep only what the law or a dispute needs: the record of which terms you accepted, for 4 years; orders and receipts, for at least 7 years under Icelandic bookkeeping law; and evidence for an open payment dispute until it closes. The Privacy policy lists what is kept and for how long.
14.4 We may restrict or suspend your account if you break these terms or the law, or to protect players or llvls while we look into something. We tell you why and how to appeal (part 11).
14.5 We can end this agreement for any reason with at least 30 days’ notice and a statement of reasons. If we do, and you haven’t broken these terms, we refund what you bought in the 30 days before your account closes. This doesn’t reduce your legal rights.
14.6 We can close your account at once, with a statement of reasons, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, commit fraud, put a child at risk, or if the law requires it. You then lose access to what you bought, without a refund, unless the law requires one.
14.7 Parts 6 (for refunds owed), 12, 16, 17 and 18 continue after the agreement ends.
15. Changes to llvls and to these terms
In plain words: we tell you before the terms change in a way that matters, and you can leave if you don’t agree.
15.1 We may change these terms. We tell you by email and on llvls, say what is changing and why, and give the date it takes effect.
15.2 We give at least 30 days’ notice of a material change. A change the law, a court or an authority requires, or one that deals with an unexpected security or safety risk, can take effect sooner. A change that only benefits you can take effect at once.
15.3 Each version of these terms has a version code. We ask you to accept a material change at your next sign-in. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect, free of charge.
15.4 A change never takes back something you have already bought, or changes the price you paid.
15.5 We may improve or change llvls, its features and the games on it. If a change takes away something important that you paid for, part 6 applies.
16. Our responsibility to you
In plain words: we are responsible for what we get wrong, within limits, and nothing here limits what the law won’t let us limit.
16.1 We run llvls with reasonable care and skill. As the seller, we are responsible to you under consumer law for what you buy on llvls. We can’t promise llvls will always be available or free of errors.
16.2 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow to be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stay as they are.
16.3 llvls is for personal use. We aren’t responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for business losses.
16.4 Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of what you paid us in those 12 months and EUR 100.
16.5 We aren’t responsible for services you choose to use alongside llvls, such as your bank, Google when you sign in with it, or an advertiser’s site.
16.6 Some games have flashing lights or fast-changing patterns. If you or someone playing on your account has had seizures, or feels unwell while playing, stop and seek medical advice. Take regular breaks.
17. Law and disputes
In plain words: Icelandic law applies, but if you are a consumer you keep the protections and courts of the country where you live.
17.1 Icelandic law governs these terms.
17.2 The courts of Iceland, with Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur as the first court, decide disputes about them. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there where that law allows.
17.3 Please contact us first (part 18), or appeal under part 11. Most problems are solved there.
17.4 If you are a consumer, you may also be able to take a dispute to an out-of-court consumer dispute body where you live.
18. Contact and general
18.1 You can reach us at support@llvls.com, or by post at Live Shuttle ehf., Biskupsgata 5, 113 Reykjavík, Iceland. For a purchase, use “Get help with this purchase” on your receipt or Your purchases.
18.2 We send notices to the email address on your account and show them on llvls.
18.3 We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over llvls, such as 4rc4d3 ehf., if your rights stay the same. We will tell you. You can’t transfer it without our written agreement.
18.4 If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
18.5 We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
18.6 These terms are in English only.
18.7 Only you and we can enforce these terms. Creators can’t enforce them against you, and you can’t enforce them against creators.
